When life is very, very lonely, quiet, sad and your heart hurts the very most.

A big floppy dog to greet you when you walk in the door at the end of the day.
I will miss being close enough to work to come home at lunch and take a nap.
I'll also miss the big floppy dog when I have to give him back...
...but I won't miss cleaning up his poops.
