Recently someone at work told me that there was a survey done, and a wide majority of Americans wanted to rid the monetary system of pennies. Now, I didn't go research his claims, but I did think about the concept.
What the heck is wrong with the penny??
They're a pretty color and count as 1. I'm a 1. Does the country want to get rid of me?
At any rate, I like pennies. Pennies remind me of my grandpa, and bring good luck!
So, I'm thinking of getting a penny can. If people don't like pennies, fine! Give them to me!! If as many people don't like pennies as was implied in my work conversation, I should get OODLES!
Maybe I can pay off my student loans. :)
